QUIT CLAIM DEED.

Know All Men by These Presents,
That I Solomon I. Freeman of the Hartford in the County of Hartford and State of Connecticut
for divers good causes and considerations thereunto moving, especially for two thousand dollars received to my full satisfction of John W. Church & Hannah K. Church of the town of Putnam in the County of Windham, and State aforesaid have remised, released, and forever quit-claimed, and do by these presents, for myself and heirs justly and absolutely remise, release, and forever QUIT-CLAIM unto the said John W. Church & Hannah K. Church and their heirs and assigns forever, all such right and title as I the said Solomon I. Freeman have or ought to have in or to the following described piece or parcel of land situated partly in the town of Ashford in said Windham County, in Tolland County, in said state, containing by estimation one hundred and twenty acres, more or less, with all the buildings standing thereon. Bounded on the North by lands of Edward H. Squier, Charles Jacobson, and John A. Smoth and in part by highway leading from Bickness Bridge, so called, to West Ashford. East, by highway and Mount Hope River, South by land of William C. Young and Sarah B. Brown, and West by land of Edward H. Squier, Charles Jacobson and John M. Smith it being the same and all the land and [ ] morgaged to me the said Freeman, by the [ ] John W. Church and Hannah K. Church by a mortgage deed dated March 7th 1885, and is recorded in Ashford Land Records, Book No. 31, Page 232. It being the affect of this deed to release and discharge said mortgage and all rights of every kind which accrued to me under the same.

To have and to hold, the premises unto them the said John W. Church and Hannah K. CHurch and to their heirs and assigns, to the only use and behoof of the said John W. Church & Hannah K. Church and their heirs and assigns forever, so that neither I the said Soloman I. Freeman nor any other person or persons in my name and behalf, shall or will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the premises or any part thereof, but they and every of them shall by these presents be excluded and forever barred.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 31st day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight.
